Spice Green beans with butter rice!
1 ½ kilo fresh green beans
1 – Onion
½ kilo Mushroom – chopped
2- Small Hot chili peppers - slice
1 - Chili habanero pepper
2 – Cups rice
4 – Cups water
1 – Stick of butter
3 – Covers of garlic
Now for the fun part putting it all together!!
First wash and clean all vegetables!
In a med size pot add the 2 cups of rice and 4 cups of water, when rice starts to boil add half of the stick of butter. Then put rice on low heat cook until rice is soft.
Now for green beans: first wash and clean all your green beans then cut off the tips.
In a large frying pan add 1 ½ tablespoon of olive oil on med- heat then add your chopped onion and garlic ,then stir until you small the onion and garlic then add your green beans ,stir and then top and cook for about 5 minutes . Check to see how green beans are coming along. Once green beans are a little soft place on low heat then add your chopped chili peppers and whole habanero pepper ,then add you mushrooms stir well and top it for anther good 5 minutes or until green beans are soft with a little crisp to it ..
Now to plate and sever!
Plate a good severing size of the butter rice to your plate or rice bowl then add the spice green beans and top it off with some soy sauce now enjoy !
